Definitely, one of my favorite trends for this season is peplum. Actually, ever since it was launched as a trend in spring/summer 2012 collections, peplum items found a permanent place in my wardrobe. In any form and material, from tops and jackets to dresses and skirts, from cotton to polyester, in any color, I can't get enough of it. So I did what every normal girl does when she gets obsessed with some fashion item: stocked my wardrobe! :)
Here is what I found in my most recent online shopping spee, searching for some new additions to my peplum collection:
River Island - Black Polka Dot Belted Peplum Top, 25£
Lipsy - Sequin Peplum Top, 38£
River Island - Pink Embellished Shoulder Peplum Top, 35£
Zalando Collection - Clemantis Blue Top, 44.95€
Ted Baker - WRENN Wool Peplum Jacket, 209£

Jane Norman - Minirock Black Peplum, 25.95€
Mango- Tweed Peplum Pencil Skirt, 36.11€
Aqua - New Element Structured Peplum Dress, 208.35€
Lipsy - Amy Childs Elizabeth Peplum Dress, 32.50€
Miss Francesca Couture - Leopard Peplum Tutu Dress, 333.36€
One positive side-effect of peplum: it looks good on any type of body. And if you happen to gain some extra kilo over the holidays, (who can help it with all these delicious Christmas specialties around?) it will be a perfect cover until you do some "damage control".
